Here's a slice of what I'll bring to the table, and what I excel in.

3D MODELING & TEXTURING
Zbrush and Maya serve as my primary tools for various modeling tasks within the 3d pipeline, as well as other tasks beyond modeling and sculpting. Although they are my forte, I’m not limited by them. I’m quick to learn and will transition my skills to accommodate other software and applications as needed. With Substance and Adobe, I specialize in crafting PBR shaders and textures. Leaning towards realism, my models show weathered, lived-in character, and wear-and-tear, ultimately adding narrative depth.

RESEARCH
Before modeling and texturing, I really get into the research. I love this part because it educates me on a lot of different things, and every bit of research brings fresh knowledge about the world around me. I’ll take inspiration from the real world whenever I can, making sure each asset I create feels genuine. It isn’t just about meeting expectations - it’s about enhancing the immersion and adding that extra layer of authenticity to the project.

LIGHTING
When all the modeling and texturing is finished, I love diving into lighting - it’s been a passion of mine since my photography days. It isn’t just a technical aspect for me though, it is also crucial for storytelling! I recognize the nuanced balance between light and shadow, and sometimes, the absence of light is what is needed. With the help of my photography background, I’m able to create scenes with complexity, visual appeal, and emotion.
